Independence Community College is considering an expansion of their course offerings for emergency services training.

 At this week's Board of Trustees meeting, EMS Director John Boles told the board an expansion of training and certification course for emergency services would make the college an area leader in that program. Boles says it would benefit both beginning students as well as those currently working in the health industry who would like to expand their skills.

The Trustees gave the go-ahead for the potential course of study to take the next step in the approval process.
