A former government official in Riley County pleads “not guilty” to charges of DUI.
Former Manhattan Mayor Winfried Butler made his first appearance in Manhattan Municipal Court yesterday where he faces charges of Driving Under the Influence. Butler is accused of being intoxicated when he drove his vehicle into a Manhattan liquor store two weeks ago.
Butler resigned his duties as mayor the day after his arrest. His next court date is set for June 26th.
