Montgomery County commissioners hear a request and a report from Four County Mental Health.

 

 Executive Director of Four County Mental Health Greg Hennen spoke before the Montgomery County Commission at this week's meeting. Hennen had two letters for commissioners. The first was a request for $10,000 from the county liquor fund. Hennen told commissioners that the money would be used substance abuse treatment for uninsured residents of Montgomery County. He added that about 30% of those who seek treatment at Four County are uninsured.

 

The second letter presented by Hennen was an update on the work the organization does within the county. Hennen says Four County treats a lot of Montgomery County residents for a variety of needs.

 

In addition to Hennen, commissioners also heard from Maintenance Supervisor Jeff Phelps regarding a water heater in the Judicial Building.
