A Parsons man is arrested for theft at a local farm and ranch supply store.
The Parsons Police Department arrested 38-year-old Caleb Willey following an incident at Bomgaars in Parsons. The arrest was made after officers responded to an alarm at the store. Upon arrival, an officer witnessed Willey fleeing the scene from behind the business. Officers located Willey, who was found in possession of stolen items from Bomgaars, along with other stolen property.
Officers found a broken window, which is believed to be the point of entry. Willey has been charged with burglary, theft, criminal damage to property, interference with law enforcement and possession of stolen property. Willey appeared in Labette County District Court on Wednesday, where he was issued a $15,000 bond.
