The race is on for Coffeyville students at the annual Field Day.

 

Students in 3rd grade through 6th grade spent the day at Veterans Memorial Stadium, participating in a variety of games, races and activities.

 

Event organizer Tyler Coots says this year had the best participation yet.

 

The students were able to utilize the football field, track and field areas, and the area around the stadium for the day's activities. Coots says the school is fortunate to have these resources available.

 

The last day of school for USD 445 is May 24th, which will be a half day for students.
