Authorities in Sumner County recover more human remains.
On Friday, May 10, 2024, the Sumner County Sheriff's Office (SCSC) recovered the body of a deceased man in a rural area near Belle Plaine.
Yesterday evening, SCSC say they recovered more remains from the same area. The remains are believed to be connected to a homicide investigation in Sedgwick County and that the victims were last seen at a residence in south Wichita on January 1st. Authorities have yet to confirm the identities of the victims but are asking anyone with information on the case to call the Sumner County Investigations division at 316-660-5300.
