A resurfacing project is underway on U.S. 75 in Wilson County.
According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, work started Friday on the 10-mile project area which starts 4 miles north of Altoona and continues north to the Wilson County line. Flaggers and a pilot car will direct one-lane traffic through the work zone. Drivers can expect delays of 15 minutes or less. Weather permitting, the work should be finished by mid-June. KDOT awarded the construction contract of $1.2 million to Vance Brothers Inc. and Subsidiary, Kansas City, Missouri.
