A fugitive from justice in Montgomery County is arrested in Alaska.
39 year old Levi Hart is wanted on outstanding warrants in Montgomery County for failure to appear on a charge of distribution of opiates and possession. Hart is originally from Independence and was arrested Tuesday in Fairbanks, Alaska by the Alaska State Troopers after a brief standoff. Hart is currently being held in the Fairbanks Correctional Center until he can be extradited to Kansas.
