The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect whose bond is being revoked on an attempted murder charge.

Earlier this morning, law enforcement received a tip that Josh Ferguson, who is wanted on a bond revocation warrant, was at a residence in southern Baxter Springs. Law Enforcement checked the residence and did not locate Ferguson. The original charge of attempted murder stems from an incident involving one of Ferguson's family members in May 2023.

After clearing the residence, law enforcement then searched the area but did not locate him. Anyone with information on Ferguson's whereabouts should contact the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office at (620)429-3992.
