At last week's meeting of the Nowata County Commission, Sheriff Jason McClain asked for ARPA funds to get two 2017 Ford Taurus patrol vehicles for Nowata County.

 This week, McClain got his answer. County Clerk Kay Spurgeon calls for the vote.

The commission unanimously approved the purchase. Spurgeon also informed the commission about a pair of donations to help with meals at the county jail.

The Commissioners will meet again next Monday at 9 am at the Nowata County Courthouse Annex.
