The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of an inmate at the Wilson County Jail.
At around 5pm on April 2nd, staff at the jail found 38 year old Joshua Michael Borden unresponsive in his cell. Life-saving measures were attempted and Borden was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Borden was arrested on April 1st on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic violation.
No foul play is suspected. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death. The investigation is ongoing.
