The City of Miami will break ground on their new airport terminal this Friday.

 The groundbreaking event will take place at 1pm Friday afternoon at the Miami Municipal Airport.

 The new terminal was made possible by a $1 million grant from the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics. The new terminal is should be completed sometime next year and is expected to help boost the region's economy and serve more customers in the area.

 In 2027 the airport will also undergo a $4.3 million taxiway relocation and rehabilitation project.
