An assistant principal from a Kansas high school takes part in the Boston Marathon.

 Laura Scaglione is an assisattn principal at Andover High School and ran in yesterday's race. Scaglione finished in the top half of runners, finishing in about 3 hours, 42 minutes, and 23 seconds. She finished 12,502 out of thirty thousand runners.

 Scaglione also plans to run in the Chicago Marathon in October.
