Senate Republicans are calling on Senate Majority leader Chuck Schumer to hold an impeachment trial for Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

 Forty-three Republican Senators have signed a letter sent to Schumer, demanding that a trial be held. Kansas Senator Jerry Moran is one of the signers of that letter. The Kansas Republican spoke on the floor of the Senate this week. Moran says the Biden administration has an obligation to enforce the law.

Moran says lax enforcement of the law has led to the current situation.

Moran was joined by Kansas Senator Roger Marshall in signing the letter.
