Coffeyville FFA students find success as they compete in the Mound City Regional Envirothon Contest for the first time.

14 FFA members traveled to the Linn County Fairgrounds to compete in the contest. The team of Tucker Vesey, Andrew Raper, Anna Merka, Emma Thompson, and Bennett Thompson placed first overall and are headed to state. They placed first in Current Issues and Rangeland and then in the Soils and Land Use Section they finished first with a near perfect score of 96 out of 100.

The team of Halle Hayes, Aubrey Battaglear, Alek Plute, and Sam Stukesbary finished third overall and the team of Dakota Davis, Wyatt Ditmore, Ethan Stotts, Evan Westervelt, and Graham Leeds placed first in the Wildlife Section.
