The Allen County Sheriff's Office is warning residents of a text scam circulating in the area.

 The scam texts tells the recipient that they have a product that has arrived at a U.S. Postal Service location and that the address is not detailed and cannot be delivered door-to-door. The text then includes a link.

One of the main indicators that the text is a scam is that the phone number it comes from is located in the Philippines.

The Sheriff's Office reminds residents to never click on a link in a text or email you didn't ask for.
