Federal, state, and tribal partners will be on hand for a Tar Creek Superfund Site Open House Event coming up in Miami.

 Those groups will be available to answer questions from the community about the Tar Creek Site. The focus will be on the importance of blood testing for lead for children and free residential soil cleanup. Other topics will include updates on chat pile cleanup and surface water investigations. Free blood testing will be available.

There will also be food trucks and free coffee. The Open House takes place next Thursday from 5 to 8pm at the Miami Civic Center.
