Pittsburg Man Arrested for Breaking into a Home Armed with a Knife

A Pittsburg man is arrested after breaking into a home.

Yesterday at around 5:15pm, Pittsburg Police officers were dispatched to a residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. The caller said someone was breaking into their home and was armed with a knife. Upon arrival, the victim met officers outside of the home because the suspect was still inside. Officers saw the suspect through a broken window pane and directed him at gunpoint to exit the residence.

25-year-old Zach M. Camplin was then taken into custody without further incident. A knife was located on him. After collecting additional information from the victim, Camplin was arrested for felony aggravated assault and felony criminal damage. He was transported to the Crawford County jail and is being held without bond. This incident is still under investigation at this time.
