Coffeyville Regional Medical Center is accepting applications for two scholarships through the CRMC Foundation.
The Best Family Medical Scholarship was created by the children of Jerry and Norma Best in memory of their father and to honor their mother. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students accepted into a medical field program. The Edna and John Cape Scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a dietary degree leading to a position as a dietitian. The Cape Scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior undergraduate student participating in an approved dietary study program, or a graduate student pursuing certification as a dietitian.
Students interested in applying can download an application on the hospital’s website. Applications are due on May 31st. Applicants are asked to submit a 500 word essay on why they chose to pursue a career in healthcare, school transcripts and letters of recommendation sent on their behalf. Multiple winners may be awarded. Applicants who have received the scholarship before are encouraged to apply each year.
