Montgomery County Sheriff Deputies make an arrest in a stolen vehicle case that started in Indiana.

Saturday morning, deputies stopped a vehicle that had been reported stolen from East Chicago, Indiana. The vehicle was spotted traveling south on Highway 75, just north of Independence. Deputies took the driver, Adam Hiner, into custody and it was discovered that he was driving without a valid license.

Hiner was transported to the Montgomery County Department of Corrections and booked on charges of felony possession of stolen property and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license. Arrangements have been made for the return of the vehicle to its owner.
