Drug Investigation in Southwest Missouri Leads to Child Molestation Arrest

A drug investigation in Jasper, MO, leads to the arrest of a man wanted for child molestation.

Early last week, police were investigating drug allegations at a Jasper home. After a search of the home, police found meth-related drug paraphernalia and a subject hiding behind a dresser. The subject was identified as Joshua Garber, who was discovered to have outstanding warrants in Jackson County, MO, for 2nd degree assault and child molestation.

Garber was taken into custody for the outstanding warrants and possession of drug-related paraphernalia. The resident of the house Darrell Thomason was also arrested on drug charges.

Both men were taken to the Jasper County Jail.

The residence in question has been the scene of several drug related arrests over the past 10 years. Due to this and the condition of the house, charges for “maintaining a nuisance” will be submitted to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s office.
