The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Kansas Department of Corrections are investigating the death of a prison inmate.
58 year old Charles Homer Roberson was found unresponsive in his cell last Monday at the Lansing Correctional Facility. Staff and EMS attempted life-saving measures, but were unable to revive him.. The cause of death will not be known until an autopsy can be completed.
Roberson was serving a life sentence for first degree murder for the 1998 stabbing death of Anita Wilridge in Wyandotte County
