Parsons High School Students Find Success With Anti-Drug Video

A pair of Parsons High School students create an award-winning anti-drug video.

PHS students Brody Wright and Syrus Clairmont submitted an entry for the Elks Club Drug Awareness Video Contest. This year's theme is “Be Kind to Your Mind – Live Drug Free.” Their video won at the local level and now moves on to the state competition. If they win there, they will move on to the national competition.

The students began working on their video last fall and plan to enter it in other competitions. They will compete with it at SkillsUSA next month.

Elks judging of the videos is based on closeness to the theme, neatness, originality, age and language appropriate, positive message, and quality of video.
