A traffic stop leads to the drug arrest of a Copan man.

 46 year old Jason Brown was arrested last week after being pulled over for having a tail light out. When asked to step out of his car, the officer noticed a clear plastic baggie in his pocket. A search revealed 91 grams of methamphetamine, hypodermic needles, and a weighing scale.

Brown appeared in Washington County Court in Bartlesville on Monday afternoon on the charge of trafficking a controlled dangerous substance. He was given a $100,000 bond and his next court date is set for April 5th.
