Police in Pittsburg are investigating reports of gunshots fired at a vehicle last weekend.

 Early last Saturday morning, around 1:40am, a Pittsburg Police Officer was on patrol in the 100 block of North Broadway when they heard what they believed to be gunshots. The officer drove in the direction of the shots and saw several vehicles quickly leaving a parking lot located near Jimmy B's Bar. An investigation revealed that witnesses saw an unidentified suspect fire several gunshots at a vehicle that was driving away. The suspect then fled the scene. No injuries were reported but the victim's car had been struck several times by bullets. The investigation is ongoing.
