Hunter Safety Course in Columbus

 

 Hunter Safety is always in season.

 Those in need of Hunter Safety certification can sign up for a Hunter Safety Education Course happening in Columbus on May 3rd and 4th. The Kansas Hunter's Education course teachers new hunters to be ethical, safe and knowledgeable. The course will cover topics such as firearm basics, conservation, outdoor emergencies, and Kansas hunting regulations. Students must attend all class sessions and be 11 years of age to be certified. Younger students may attend but will not earn certification.

The class will be held at the Cherokee County Sportsmen Club located at the corner of Northwest 70th street and Northwest Bellview Road in Columbus. It runs from 6pm to 10pm on May 3rd and from 8am to 5pm on May 4th.
