The City of Neodesha is putting up new stop signs in preparation for the early learning center being built.
The new stop signs have been put in at the 9th Street and Grant intersection. The City has also made 9th and Church a four-way stop to help with traffic around Heller and to make it safer for students walking on 9th Street. The City says there will be a lot more traffic in the areas of 9th and Grant and in the near future the school zones will also be getting changed to cover 9th Street from Iowa to Idaho.
The City asks that when in these areas drivers should watch their speeds and make sure they come to a complete stop at the stop signs.
