A single vehicle accident in Bourbon County leaves one man seriously injured.

 23 year old Luke Price of Pryor, OK, was traveling westbound on K-7 about ten miles southwest of Fort Scott on Friday. Around 4pm, Price – who was driving a 2008 Ford F-150 – attempted to pass in a no passing zone. In order to avoid a head-on collision, Price swerved and left the roadway where he struck a tree. Price was taken to a Springfield hospital with a suspected serious injury. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
