The Neosho Fire Department responds to a residential structure fire.

 Fire crews were called to the scene of a house fire in the 1700 block of South High Street in Neosho early Wednesday morning. Firefighters arrived around 7am to find visible smoke and flames coming from the house. No occupants were in the home at the time the fire occurred and no other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not been determined though it appears to have started in the laundry room. The Missouri State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
