Independence City Commission Says Good-Bye To Police Chief

 

 Independence Chief of Police Jerry Harrison announced his resignation earlier this week. At last night's (Thursday's) city commission meeting Harrison was recognized for his tenure with the city by City Manager Kelly Passauer and Commissioner Dean Hayse. Harrison leaves Independence to take over as Chief of Police in Lebanon, MO. The move will allow him to live closer to his family. Harrison says he has enjoyed working in Independence.

 There will be a reception for Harrison Prior to the March 28th City Commission Meeting. The public is invited to attend.
