Authorities in southwest Missouri barely miss a man wanted in a Jasper County murder.

 

 30 year old Scott Burleson of Wyandotte, OK, was spotted Wednesday evening in Pineville, MO, near the Missouri/Arkansas line.

 

McDonald County Deputies responded to a report of a stolen generator just outside of Pineville. When they arrived on scene, the deputies were told that Burleson had just left. Witnesses reported seeing him on foot near the junction of Route W and East State Highway 76. Burleson was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
