A Barnsdall man appeared in Washington County Court yesterday afternoon on charges of trafficking methamphetamine after being pulled over in Bartlesville.

 Dillon Smith was arrested on multiple charges, including trafficking a controlled substance. An affidavit states that officers observed Smith's trailer had a defective tail light, which initiated the traffic stop. A K9 alert allowed officers to search Smith's vehicle.  The search revealed more than 200 grams of methamphetamine. Officers also found a digital scale with white residue, more than $2,000 in cash and a pair of brass knuckles in the vehicle. 

Smith's bond was set at $100,000 and his next court date is next Friday.
