The Coffeyville Police Department has a new service to provide information to residents.

The Genasys Emergency Management software is a multi-channel emergency notification system. Users will be provided with alerts that affect their safety including weather notifications. This will replace the Nixle system which will still be operational until August. Genasys sends out text alerts, voice messages and e-mails.

Signing up is easy enter an e-mail, phone number, and address and set up a password. Users can then choose how and in what language to be notified. Additional e-mails and phone numbers can be added.  More information and the link to register.
