Neodesha City Commission Chooses New Security Software

The Neodesha City Commission meets and discusses their options for new software.

Vice-Mayor Emily Vail-Keller called yesterday's meeting to order in the place of Mayor Devin Johnson who was not present. Commissioners held a lengthy discussion about using G-Works Cloud Migration to move records to the cloud. City Administrator Brogan Jones says it's a move the city will have to make, one way or another.

Commissioner Duane Banzet says he realizes that cloud computing is safe, but he still has some reservations about it.

The commission voted in favor of using G-Works. In other business, the Neodesha Area Chamber of Commerce gave the commission a report on their upcoming Easter events.

The Easter Egg hunt in Neodesha will be held on March 30th at Riverwalk Park starting at 11am. There will be four age groups for kids from birth to 8 years old with candy, prizes, and family fun. Shoppers in Neodesha can also visit local businesses to take part in the Customer Egg Hunt happening until Easter.
