A new program is available to help agricultural producers and landowners conserve the habitat for Northern Bobwhite Quail.

The program is available in 18 states including Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas. Under Secretary for Farm Production and Conservation Robert Bonnie says the program aims to help conserve wildlife habitat without being a burden on producers.

Applications are being accepted year-round for the pilot project that provides technical and financial assistance. Anyone interested can contact their local USDA Service Center.
