The Montgomery County Commission hears citizen concerns about a new county position.

 At last week's meeting, Commissioner Robert Bever introduced a resolution to establish the position of County Administrator. The position would serve as executive in the county and was approved by the commission. At yesterday's (Monday's) meeting, a concerned citizen address the commissioners about her concerns regarding the new position. She says the commission should proceed with caution.

Commissioner Mike Cordray told the woman that she made a good point and thanked her for her input. In other business, County GIS Mapping Director Anne Miller tells commissioners that the county website has good traffic and is secure.

The Montgomery County commission meets every Monday at 9am in the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence.
