Fire Crews respond to a weekend call of a structure fire in Webb City on Sunday.

 First responders from Webb City Fire, Webb City Police and METS ambulance responded to a structure fire at a Webb City home around 7:45am on Sunday morning. Fire fighters observed heavy smoke and flames when they arrived on scene. They were able to extinguish the blaze but there was substantial damage an east side addition to the home. All occupants were safely evacuated from the building and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
