A drunk driver traveling at high rates of speed forced a tractor-trailer off of the road on I-70 in central Missouri late Saturday night.

 The semi left the roadway and overturned, spilling the contents of its trailer on the highway. The driver of the semi was uninjured and the drunk driver who caused the accident was caught and booked into the county jail on charges of driving while intoxicated. It took the Missouri Highway Patrol eight hours to clean the spill – 43,000 pounds of frozen french fries – from the roadway.
