UPDATE:  Witnesses at the scene say the suspect came out of the residence and surrendered himself to law enforcement peacefully.  More information will be made available as we receive it.

The Coffeyville Police Department is assisting the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department on scene at 111 West Jefferson Street. 

 

An individual has barricaded himself inside the residence. Officers have formed a safety perimeter around the residence and are asking citizens to please avoid the area.

 

Additional information will be released by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department as it becomes available.
