A two vehicle crash in Montgomery County leaves an Altoona woman dead.

 The accident occurred just after 6pm last night near the intersection of US 169 and County Road 5800 or about 4 miles north of Cherryvale. 29 year old Laura Erbe of Altoona was northbound on the highway in a 2011 Ford Ranger when she went left-of-center and side-swiped a 2008 Chevy Silverado driven by 22 year old Garrett Novotny of Thayer. Erbe was pronounced dead at the scene while Novotny sustained minor injuries.
