The Independence Community College Library receives a $10,000 grant the American Library Association.

 The funding comes through the Libraries Transforming America: Accessible Small and Rural Communities. The grant will be used to create an area within the library for individual study and test-taking. The space will have two learning stations with ADA keyboards and other software accommodations. It will also be equipped with cameras to allow for testing.

Like many colleges, ICC has seen an increase in students with ADHD, anxiety, and other needs that the new space will help.

ICC is one of 310 libraries to receive funding under the program.
