The Elk County Sheriff's Office arrests three people on drug charges near Longton.

 Yesterday, Elk County Deputies along with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and officers from Wildlife and Parks served warrants on two locations in the Longton area.

Police arrested Joseph Hazelwood Jr, Amy Heath, and Samantha Key. All three have been booked into the Elk County Jail on charges of Possession of Meth, Heroin, Marijuana, and Fentanyl.

The case has been turned over to the Elk County Attorney's Office for prosecution. Elk County Sheriff John Walker says he expects more arrests to be made in connection to the case in the days to come.
