The Jasper County Sheriff's Office seeks two persons of interest in a weekend killing.
On Saturday at about 5pm, Jasper County Deputies responded to a call of an assault that had occurred near 7th and State Line Avenue. 36 year old Seth Langford of Carl Junction was discovered at the scene suffering from severe injuries from an apparent stabbing. Langford was taken to a nearby hospital and rushed into surgery, but he later died from his injuries.
Police are currently looking for 30 year old Scott Burleson of Wyandotte, OK, and 36 year old Paul Phillips of Seneca, MO. They are both listed as Persons of Interest in the case.
