Two Winfield businesses are a total loss following a weekend fire.
Emergency crews responded to the area of 5th and Millington Streets around 9am yesterday to find a large fire. The blaze engulfed the building containing the Winfiled Thrift Store and Dreamcatchers Salon. The roof collapsed during the fire, destroying both businesses. The buildings were unoccupiaed at the time and no injureies were reported.
In addition to the Winfield Fire Departments crews from Ark City, Udall and Burden also responded.
