The Parsons Police Department takes a wanted sex offender into custody. 

 On Saturday, police in Parsons took 26 year old Stephen Montreal Dunn into custody. Dunn has been wanted since September 2023 for failing to register as a sex offender. He is required to register for his lifetime due to a 2017 conviction in Montgomery County of rape of a victim less than 14 years old. Dunn failed to register after he was paroled in Parsons and was declared a Parole Absconder on September 21, 2023.
