Construction on the new Central Park Sports Complex in Independence is well underway.
The $10 million project is financed by significant grant money and through donations. The Donor Brick Campaign is also part of the funding. The bricks will be featured in a prominent place within the complex. The City has also extended the deadline to purchase a brick to March 25th. Independence Recreation Director Brent Julian says the process is very user-friendly.
Bricks are available for a variety of prices, ranging from $25 up to $500 for corporate donors. To purchase a brick, go here.
