Three men face felony charges of evidence tampering and abandonment of a corpse after human remains were discovered in a brush fire in Cedar County, Missouri, on Tuesday.

 Bradley Keith of Eldorado Springs, Brandon Choate of Lamar, and Jimi Cole of Stockton were all arrested after the remains were found. Keith claimed to investigators that a deceased female died of an accidental gunshot wound after he struggled with her over the weapon. The other two men say they were forced at gunpoint to help Keith dispose of the body. The death apparently occurred in northeast Vernon County, Missouri. The victim’s name has not yet been released.  All three suspects are being held in the Cedar County Jail.
