Five people are injured in a weekend collision northeast of Dewey.
At around 7:30 pm Sunday a 2023 Polaris Razor, driven by 49 year old Diana Mims of Bartlesville, was operating in a field near West 1200 and North 4000 when she attempted a turn at a high rate of speed, and rolled the vehicle. Mims along with passengers 22 year old Rosemary Davis and 52 year old Dana Curran – both of Bartlesville – were transported to a nearby hospital, where they were all treated and released.
Passengers 42 year old Charles Howard and 21 year old Leah Mims – both from Dewey – , were both taken to St. John Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with head injuries
Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the cause of the collision was speed and inexperience.
