The water situation in Caney is in a holding pattern, as Coffeyville and Caney city leaders continue discussions on a water agreement.
With the Coffeyville City Commission set to review the contract at their regular session meeting January 9th, Caney City Administrator Kelley Zellner says both sides can benefit from the agreement.
Zellner says he is grateful for Coffeyville leaders, as well as state and federal officials, for their help to put the water plan in motion.
