Homeless Man Accused Of Police Officer Assault

 

 A Noel Marshall Is assaulted in what officials say was nothing more than a trespassing incident.

 Saturday, the Noel Marshals Office was requested to trespass 36-year-old Adam Shogar, a homeless individual, from the Noel Post Office. Officials say Shogar became aggressive and assaulted the officer. The officers glasses were broken, and he suffered numerous deep scratches across his face.

 The officer was able to deploy his taser, and Shogar was taken into custody.

 The officer was transported by private vehicle to a Northwest Arkansas hospital for treatment.

 Shogar has been charged with 3rd degree assault, special victim and felony resisting arrest for a Felony. Shogars bond was set at $5,000, cash only.

 McDonald County Deputies and Southwest City Police responded to assist.
